In Vyatskiye Polyany, the wage arrears owed to workers of the Vatan plant were partially repaid.
An inspection found that from June to August 2025 a debt of over 5 million rubles had accumulated at the plant. A recommendation was issued to the company’s management. In addition, an administrative case was initiated against the director under part 6 of Article 5.27 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for violation of labor legislation. Based on materials from the prosecutor’s office, a criminal case was also initiated under part 2 of Article 145.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — for failure to pay wages for more than two months. The investigation is ongoing. The interdistrict prosecutor’s office is monitoring both the progress of the investigation and the full repayment of the outstanding debt to employees.
