The resettlement program for residents of unsafe housing in Kirov Oblast has been completed.

      The program to resettle citizens from housing deemed uninhabitable before January 1, 2017, has been fully completed in the Kirov region. Twenty-seven apartment buildings were constructed to rehouse the people.

      One of them is a 16‑storey building at 13B Torfyanaya Street in Kirov. The building has 196 apartments with a total area of 7,700 square meters. One hundred forty‑five of them were allocated to 372 resettled people. A further 48 apartments were provided to orphans and children left without parental care, and three apartments were allocated to enforce court decisions.

      From 2019 to 2025, 7,103 residents of the region were resettled under the program from 3,204 dilapidated apartments with a total area of almost 117,000 square meters. Among other things, 5.7 billion rubles were allocated from the Territorial Development Fund for the project's implementation.
