At the moment of maximum phase (from 21:11 to 21:53) the Moon will be completely immersed in Earth's shadow and will turn a dark red. The best viewing is away from city lights. Binoculars or a telescope will be useful, although the eclipse will also be visible to the naked eye. The next total lunar eclipse that can be observed in Kirov Oblast will not occur until December 31, 2028.
