Authorities reported what they had done in Kirovo-Chepetsk to mark the anniversary.

      On September 13, Kirovo-Chepetsk will celebrate its 70th anniversary. Authorities reported what had been done for the occasion. Unfortunately, relatively few facilities were able to be put in order and transformed.

      Thus, a teen center was created at the Raduga Center for Leisure and Creativity. The building was renovated — linoleum, doors, and windows were replaced, and equipment was purchased. School No. 6 was also extensively renovated.

      A children's technopark, Kvantorium, was created at the Kirovo-Chepetsk Lyceum. A youth space appeared at the Center for Culture and Leisure at Lenina 6/3. A center of activity for senior citizens was opened at the Veterans' Council.

      Sidewalks were also renewed and public areas were improved.
