A woman in Malmyzh was helped to quickly get rid of a hernia.

      At the Malmyzh Central District Hospital, surgeons performed a laparoscopic operation to repair an inguinal hernia on a woman from the district. For her it was a long-awaited relief, as the condition had bothered her for almost a year and interfered with her ability to do household chores. The patient spent only two days in the hospital before returning home. The doctors used a modern minimally invasive technique in which the procedure is performed through small incisions. This reduces trauma and significantly shortens the recovery period. According to the Ministry of Health, the Malmyzh Central District Hospital recently upgraded its equipment, renovated the operating room, and expanded the surgical department’s capabilities. It now performs a wide range of laparoscopic operations covered by the mandatory health insurance (OMS).
