On August 8 in the Omutninsky District on the Kostroma–Sharya–Kirov–Perm highway a 40-year-old driver of a Ford Kuga ran off the road and overturned. Two female passengers, aged 59 and 80, were injured.
On the morning of August 9 in the urban-type settlement of Vakhrushi in Slobodskoy District a 32-year-old driver of an Eksid car, while intoxicated, ran off the road and crashed into a power line pole. As a result, a 44-year-old man and a 7-year-old girl were injured.
That same evening on Lenin Street in Kirov a 17-year-old motorcyclist struck a 77-year-old woman. The pedestrian and the rider were injured, but the elderly woman died in hospital.
