New art installations have appeared in public spaces in Kirov.

Brass figurines of fairy-tale characters have been installed on the tourist route "Gates of the Russian North", which opened last year. Six sculptures have already been placed on the Grin Embankment, in the Artists' Square, in the 60th Anniversary of the USSR Square, at Spasskaya Square and at the Vasnetsov Brothers Museum. Each is dedicated to one of the artist's well-known works — "The Flying Carpet", "Alyonushka", "Sirin and Alkonost: Song of Joy and Sorrow", "The Snow Maiden", "Oleg by the Horse's Bones" and "Tsar Ivan Vasilyevich the Terrible". For visitors' convenience, information plaques with QR codes and audio guides have been installed along the entire route. The project was implemented with the support of Sberbank. The route forms a figure-eight of a small and a large loop that meet at the "Gates of the Russian North" on Spasskaya Square. The small loop is designed for family walks, the large one for more experienced tourists. There are many rest areas, cafes and restaurants along the way.
