In Kirov Oblast, an individual was forced to plow a plot of land.
As early as April 2025, specialists from the Department, during a field inspection, discovered that a 35.83-hectare plot located near the village of Deminskaya was completely overgrown with weeds and woody-shrub vegetation. The land, designated for agricultural use, had not been cultivated, which violated the requirements of the Land Code of the Russian Federation. The landholder turned out to be an individual. On April 29, 2025, he was issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements and was asked to take measures to clear and cultivate the area. In mid-July 2025 the owner contacted the department requesting a reinspection to confirm that the land had been brought back into use. This was important not only for compliance with the law but also for reducing the increased land tax rate. On August 6, 2025, inspectors again visited the site and recorded that all requirements had been met: plowing, cultivation and harrowing of the fertile topsoil had been carried out. The plot is fully ready for its intended use.
