Oleg Valenchuk: Bloom, Vyatka land!

Organizations and institutions of the Kirov region participate in it annually. The unifying strength of this competition is the beauty created through joint efforts.

"Our students learn from childhood to love their native land and take care of plants," says Marina Odintsova, biology teacher at the Veshotulye school. "They grow vegetables and arrange flower beds. It's always nice when the school is beautiful."

In spring, participants receive sets of flower seeds: bright marigolds and asters, delicate cineraria and petunias, majestic lavatera, and fluffy ageratum. These plants transform the usual landscapes—they decorate flower beds or serve as the basis for impressive compositions.

"Every year we receive seeds, and the kids help grow seedlings and care for the flower beds," says Svetlana Agalakova, the caretaker of the Arbatch school-internat. "Thus, beauty is created through joint efforts."

At the "Rucheyok" kindergarten in the town of Universe, children playing in the yard admire the surrounding flowers. Each area has a small flower bed, and there are many flowers in common spaces. Galina Koisheva cares for them, setting an example of respectful attitude towards nature that the children always see.

Libraries, schools, houses of culture, churches, kindergartens, additional education centers, sports and music schools, veteran and disabled public organizations—all become participants in this green marathon.

State Duma deputy and chairman of the Union of Gardeners of Russia, Oleg Valenchuk, expressed sincere gratitude to all participants for their perseverance and hard work.

"Together, we contribute to improving our living environment, making our space more attractive. The beauty of well-maintained gardens and schools surrounded by flowers, and the cleanliness of courtyards inspire and create a positive atmosphere. Special thanks to parents and teachers who foster love for labor and the native land in children," emphasized the parliamentarian.
