In the Kirov Region, plans are being made to increase fines for a number of violations concerning both child safety and the maintenance of the urban environment. The relevant bill was approved by the Regional Duma today in the first reading.
The initiative pertains to raising fines for parents whose children wander alone at night or visit drinking establishments. The goal is to strengthen measures to protect children and teenagers.
Additionally, it is proposed to tighten responsibility for officials and legal entities for the untimely clearing of roofs from snow and ice. This is related to the need to improve safety during the winter period.
The bill also provides for an increase in fines for violations of improvement rules. These include illegal parking on children’s and sports grounds, damage to flowers, shrubs, and trees, littering in unauthorized areas, graffiti on building walls, and chaotic placement of kiosks.
