
About 3,000 fir and pine saplings from Belarus have been brought to the Kirov region.
From January 1 to July 17, 2025, 2.9 thousand conifer seedlings were imported into the Kirov region from the Republic of Belarus. This information is provided by the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kirov region, Udmurt Republic, and Perm Krai.
The latest batch of 1.4 thousand fir and pine seedlings arrived on July 14. On the territory of the region, the planting material was inspected by Rosselkhoznadzor specialists. During the document review and vehicle inspection, no violations were found.
Together with experts from the Kirov branch of FGBU "VNIIKR," samples were taken for laboratory testing. Based on the test results, no quarantine objects were detected.
Based on the laboratory conclusion, a quarantine phytosanitary certificate was issued, authorizing the use of the products as intended.
