In the first half of 2025, 12,000 smart electricity meters were installed in apartment buildings, reported the Kirov branch of "EnergosaбТ Plus." Overall, more than 29,000 smart meters are planned to be installed in the region this year.
The company explained that for residents of apartment buildings, the installation of smart meters is free of charge. "It is carried out using funds from 'EnergosaбТ Plus,' when the device is broken or its verification period has expired," the company noted. They also stated that the advantage of smart meters is that residents do not need to submit readings: the device automatically sends them to "EnergosaбТ."
