      Since the beginning of July, the prices for utilities across the country have increased by an average of 13-15%.

      According to Rosstat, in the first week of July, utility tariffs in Russia increased significantly. The most noticeable growth was in the water supply sector: cold water became almost 15% more expensive, hot water increased by 13.8%. Heating, gas, and electricity also rose in price — from 13% to 13.8%.

      

      Amid the rising utility costs, food prices increased only slightly, and some vegetables and grains even became cheaper. Regarding services, there was a slight increase in the cost of urban transportation fares and hotel accommodations.
