Simakov was accused of covering up the problems

Today, at a meeting of the Duma, the head of the Kirov administration, Vyacheslav Simakov, addressed the deputies with an annual report on his work. However, according to the people's deputies, this report did not reflect at all the problems that Kirov has recently faced.

MP Denis Erokhin noted that Simakov had not touched on many important topics. For example, the scandalous sports ground in Novovyatsk, which is still unfinished. Or unfinished schools. He also had a question about the currently inactive intelligent transport system, in which hundreds of millions of rubles have been invested.

Simakov replied that the problem with schools was partly due to the need to make changes to the design estimates and wait for the results of the state expertise, partly due to the contractors themselves. And the authorities are trying to resolve these issues. For example, the state expert examination finally managed to obtain a positive conclusion at Peat, and the contractor will soon be able to resume work. There was also a conclusion about the possibility of continuing work in Dolgushino — before that it was unclear whether it was possible to build a school there at all. The contractor promises to work closely on her as soon as he finishes school in Zubarevsky forest. "In any case, the educational organizations that are planned will appear," Simakov said. As for ITS, it cannot be launched without the third stage, but the authorities expect to do this as early as 2025, after which the finished system will be handed over to the Ministry of Transport.

Erokhin also asked if the administration plans to do something about unprofitable municipal enterprises such as Vyatkomtorg and Central Market. Simakov replied that they had conducted an analysis and were moving towards the liquidation of enterprises whose activities were recognized as ineffective.

MP Vladimir Malkov noted that he did not see information in the report about assistance to small businesses, which are currently having a very difficult time. And that there really are no negative points in the report, for example, about the "dying" children's sports, the renovated — but already crumbling — facades, the rotunda, which will soon be easier to demolish than to put in order. And tourism. "We spent a lot of money on holidays," Malkov said. — But I asked Sandalov (the head of the Vyatka hotel — approx.) if his workload at the hotels had increased. He says, "not really." In the end, the deputy asked Simakov to listen to him and his colleagues.

Vladimir Zhuravlev stated that he evaluates the administration "satisfactorily." He noted that Kirov, it would seem, celebrated its anniversary well, however, unlike other jubilee cities, not a single new facility was opened in it, while the administration could come up with appropriate proposals and ask for money from the region. Zhuravlev also expressed regret that Simakov strongly depends on the opinion of the governor and other "higher-ups" and does not defend his position. "The Varangians will come and leave, but you will stay. In addition, their vision often does not correspond to the interests of citizens and they are not deeply immersed in the problems of the region," he said.

Deputy Alexander Nikulin, in turn, focused on the transport collapse that is now brewing in Kirov. He asked the administration to take this issue under control, as well as solve the problem of displaced persons from emergency housing.

After listening to everyone, Simakov thanked the deputies for their joint work. He noted that the authorities are aware of all the voiced problems, they know all their pros and cons. However, sometimes it is not so easy to get rid of the disadvantages - in particular, because there is not enough money. However, he promised to do everything possible to solve the problems.
