The Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov region has checked how the anti-corruption legislation is being observed. During the audit, large cash receipts were found on the current accounts of the deputy head of the territorial division of the medical and biological agency.
From 2021 to 2023, the official received almost 5 million rubles, while the legality of their origin has not been confirmed.
The Prosecutor's office of the Kirov region reported that a lawsuit had been filed with the court regarding the conversion of these funds into the income of the Russian Federation. The court granted the claim, and also forbade the former civil servant to use the money in the accounts as interim measures.
The Prosecutor's Office will monitor the execution of the court's decision after it comes into force.
