The pupils of the local SSHOR "Bystrica" showed outstanding results, winning 119 medals: 42 gold, 44 silver and 33 bronze. 848 athletes from 17 cities of the country took part in the tournament, including Moscow, Kazan, Perm, Syktyvkar and others.
Competitions are traditionally an important stage in the training of young swimmers, and this tournament was marked by a record number of participants, which indicates the growing popularity of swimming in the region.
