To date, more than 8.5 thousand square meters of flower beds have already been planted in Kirov, the Kirov City Hall reported. The work was carried out at 28 sites of the city. Residents can admire the flower beds at the intersections of Lenin and Rosa Luxemburg Streets, Karl Marx and Preobrazhenskaya, in the Alexander Garden and on the Green Embankment, Komsomolskaya Street and at the bus station.
As noted in the Kirov city administration, the specified area does not include flower beds planted by the efforts of territorial administrations, enterprises and the citizens themselves on their plots.
Since the beginning of this year, more than 200 shrubs and 50 trees have been planted in Kirov. Specialists have already planted 585 flower pots and planters, and a total of 615 are planned to be installed throughout the city. In the near future, hydrometers (special outdoor planters) will appear on Vorovsky Street and in the ravine of the Blockage, and large decorative cubes with ginnala maples are planned to be placed on Spasskaya Street.
Regular maintenance work is carried out on flower beds. Watering of each of them is organized according to the schedule. Also, according to the Department of Urban Economy, the final stage of mowing grass for the improvement of the road network is underway in the city.
The agency noted that there had been some violations on the part of the contractors. After the inspections, 48 prescriptions were issued, and fines of 100,000 rubles were imposed in six cases. As a result, the contractors lost more than 2 million rubles due to violations.
