Kirov residents were shown new address signs
The updated signs will appear on the streets that were renamed by the decision of the Kirov City Duma. The new names will become effective on July 1, and work on replacing the address signs will begin on the same day. In total, it is planned to replace almost 1 thousand units.
As the administration recalled, the historical names will be returned to five streets: Volodarsky — Nikitskaya, Uritsky — Uspenskaya, Rosa Luxemburg — Morozovskaya, Derendyaev — Vsesvyatskaya, Karl Marx — Vladimirskaya. Karl Liebknecht St. was also named Defenders of the Fatherland, and Gorbachev St. became Albert Likhanov St.
The mayor's office added that the replacement of documents will not be required. If you need to receive any municipal services, they are provided free of charge when contacting the MFC.
For full houses, there is a brown plaque option for installation in the historical part of the city. For other streets, a rectangular version in graphite color is provided. It is worth noting that the address signs are made of 3 mm thick composite aluminum. The Kirov administration clarified that due to this, the plates will last longer than those that are installed now. It is also specified that, if necessary, it is possible to reapply the paint.
Earlier we wrote about how much money it will take to replace the address plates. Read the details here.
