The industry of the Kirov region showed a slight decrease
In the Kirov region, industrial production decreased slightly in the first four months of this year. The index was 98.6% compared to the same period last year.
The mining sector showed a particularly noticeable drop — by more than a quarter. Fewer products have been released in areas such as water supply, waste management, energy production and manufacturing.
Nevertheless, there have been positive developments. The production of vehicles and equipment, chemical and pharmaceutical products has increased significantly. Food industry enterprises showed a slight increase.
Separately, there is an increase in the field of equipment repair and installation — by almost a third. At the same time, the production of textiles, automotive machinery, electrical equipment and paper products decreased.
