Three people have died under the wheels of trains in the Kirov region since the beginning of the year.

      Since the beginning of this year, four incidents involving citizens have occurred at the railway infrastructure facilities of the Kirov region. In three of them, people received fatal injuries. This was announced by representatives of the Gorky Railway as part of a preventive event held at the Kirov Highway College.

      According to experts, most accidents are caused by citizens' own carelessness. The main reasons are crossing the tracks in front of an approaching train, an attempt to cross the tracks in unidentified places, as well as hooliganism and hooking.

      For comparison, during the same period of 2024, one fatal case was recorded in the region. The railwaymen emphasize that the railway remains a high-risk area and remind of the need to strictly follow the rules.: cross the tracks only in equipped places, do not walk on rails and remain vigilant.
