      The department reminds drivers to conduct intoxication checks on the territory of Kirov and the districts of the region on May 16 and 17. The motorists will be monitored by traffic police officers, civil activists, representatives of the people's squads and the Night Patrol organization.

      We remind you that it is forbidden to drive drunk. For such a violation or for refusing to undergo an examination, the penalty is deprivation of the right to manage for a period of one and a half to two years and a fine of 45 thousand rubles.

      The State Traffic Inspectorate also added that video recorders are installed in all traffic police patrol cars to avoid conflict situations, as well as to prevent corruption. If you see that a drunk person is driving, you need to report it to the police.
