Officials are thinking about transport in Novovyatsk

      The head of the city administration noted that the Kirov City Hall understands that the accessibility of the Novovyatsky district should also be ensured for passengers on suburban routes. "Bus No. 160 reaches Linnaya Street. There are wishes from residents to redirect several flights on the southern bypass to the central part of the Novovyatsky district. In this way, we could significantly improve transport accessibility, including for schoolchildren and working citizens. It is proposed to make three such flights per day," Simakov said.

      The representative of the carrier noted that bus No. 161 can be used on this route, but it is possible to apply only the suburban fare. The issue of arrival of bus No. 103 in Novovyatsk was also considered, but given the detour and the busy schedule, this is unlikely.

      The issue of organizing a pedestrian crossing near Varsegi settlement was also discussed at the meeting. Locals have to walk more than half a kilometer in both directions to the nearest crossing. But the regional road committee noted that GOST does not allow organizing a pedestrian crossing on this section of the road. Deputies and the leadership of the Novoyatsky territorial administration proposed to consider the possibility of sidewalks at least up to the existing pedestrian crossings.
