Kirov residents are massively watching glamping for the May holidays
This is evidenced by MegaFon data based on the analysis of an impersonal array of traffic to thematic sites.
Among the users who prefer atmospheric relaxation in Scandinavian-style houses, 86% of Kirov residents turned out to be. Another 14% of the traffic was generated by residents from 47 regions of the country. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma, Vologda, Tyumen regions, Moscow and Perm Krai show the greatest interest in Kirov glamping.
The nature of Vyatka attracts not only representatives of neighboring regions of the country, but also remote territories – Siberia and the Far East. Kirov glamping sites are being studied in Kuzbass, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk regions, as well as in Primorsky Krai and Amur Region.
The preferences of Kirov residents and tourists from other regions vary. The former often choose locations near the regional capital. Visitors are more interested in glamping in more secluded places and close to natural attractions, for example, near Sokolnaya Gora – such locations account for about 70% of traffic from residents of other regions.
Such holidays are most popular throughout the year in July – it is in this month that the highest traffic to thematic sites is recorded, which exceeds the annual average by 2 times. The second peak of activity occurs in November-December, when Kirov residents select locations for the New Year holidays.
"Modern comfortable outdoor recreation involves not only comfortable living conditions, but also high-quality communication and mobile Internet. For example, in the Sokolnaya Gora area, Internet traffic has increased by more than a quarter since the beginning of the year compared to the same period in 2024. Therefore, we are actively expanding the network coverage area throughout the region and increasing the speed of mobile Internet both through refarming and by installing new telecom equipment," said Alexander Maksimov, Director of MegaFon in the Kirov region.
