Abandoned cars are being removed from the streets of Kirov
Today, on April 14, unattended cars were evacuated from Volkova Street in Kirov. Specialists go to the site for inspection when identifying such machines after appeals from citizens or the work of employees of the landscaping directorate. They record signs of abandonment, namely: prolonged parking, flat tires, possible access to the car of strangers.
The Kirov administration added that ads are posted on such cars, in which the owners are asked to clean the transport themselves, but if there is no reaction from the owners, the car is evacuated by the contractor with the participation of traffic police officers. As a result, the transpopt is sent to a special parking lot on a tow truck.
Such evacuation is carried out year-round. Currently, 54 unattended vehicles have been identified in Kirov, and information for owners is posted on all of them. At the same time, the owners have already moved some of the cars. In the near future, 10 more cars will be evacuated on the streets of Volkov, Mira and Konev.
The mayor's office added that unattended cars move only from the regional center's road network. The transport that stands in the courtyards is located in the area of responsibility of the Criminal Code.
