KCHK has allocated more than 1.9 billion rubles for environmental protection in 2024
The main directions of the environmental protection activities of the KCHK branch in 2024 were to increase the efficiency of the gas cleaning equipment of the workshops, eliminate the risk of pollutants entering the drainage networks of the enterprise (acid-resistant floors and pallets were reconstructed). Work continues on the removal of alcohol-containing equipment for disposal in order to comply with the requirements of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants. The production environmental control program has been fully implemented and the absence of excess of permissible environmental impact standards has been confirmed.
The KCHK branch cooperates on an ongoing basis with universities of the Kirov region in scientific areas of minimizing the level of environmental impact during the branch's production activities. The company supports the development of environmental education in the city and the region, works with public organizations, conducts environmental events and campaigns. In 2024, the KCHK branch became a partner of the international scientific and practical conference "Ecology of the native land: problems and ways to solve them", team competitions for collecting and sorting garbage in a polluted area "Clean Games". The traditional "Good Sprout" tree planting campaign was held again in Yuzhny Park. Employees of the KCHK branch took part in the all-Russian environmental dictation.
