      The school administration in the village of Semushino in the Zuyevsky district of the Kirov region is obliged to eliminate the cold in the gym, locksmith and carpentry workshops by September 1, 2025. This decision was made by the court after a collective appeal from parents and teachers to a direct line with the President of Russia.

      The problem has persisted for several years. As the Popular Front found out, the cause was damage to the heating system: three years ago, a pipe burst in the women's locker room, and two 16-section radiators were dismantled. Since then, the indoor temperature has not risen above +13°C, and the gym walls remain damp and covered with black mold.

      The authorities tried to solve the problem: they insulated the facade and the entrance door, installed a pump for heat circulation. However, as noted by public activists, the measures proved ineffective. A repeated appeal to the prosecutor's office led to the filing of a lawsuit, in which the court sided with the students and their parents.

      "By September 1, the school administration is obliged to make sure that the gym and workshops are warm. We will keep the situation under control," said Valeria Cheremisinova, head of the regional branch of the Popular Front.
