The inspectors of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received the right to fine for violations of the fire regime on the spot
Inspectors of the state fire supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia have received new powers — they can bring citizens to administrative responsibility directly at the scene of an offense. This became possible due to the entry into force of Federal Law No. 56-FZ dated 04/01/2025.
Now, if there are sufficient grounds, control (supervisory) measures are not required. This applies primarily to land owners who do not comply with fire safety requirements: they do not remove garbage, dry grass and trees, or burn them, violating established prohibitions.
Violators face a warning or a fine of up to 15,000 rubles. In the case of a special fire protection regime, the amount of the fine may increase to 20 thousand rubles.
The new measures are aimed at strengthening fire prevention and increasing the responsibility of citizens during the spring and summer fire season.
