Vladimir Yakushev: It is fundamentally important to take into account the opinion of citizens when landscaping territories

      United Russia pays close attention to the topic of creating a comfortable urban environment in the regions. Since 2017, the party has been implementing one of its key projects, Urban Environment, which became the basis for the federal program of the same name. During this time, the project has reached 120 million people living in six thousand settlements.

      The key stage in the implementation of the program in 2025 will be the All-Russian vote for landscaping facilities, conducted jointly with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Citizens will choose the territory they consider promising for renovation, determine its purpose and content, and coordinate the design and materials used.

      – It's important for people to see that they have the final say. And the party ensures this," said Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of the EP. – Therefore, interest in the project is growing. Over the past 4 years, the number of citizens involved in the project has increased 1.7 times.

      The voting will be held online from April 21 to June 12. The party's volunteers will tell you more about the project. They will work throughout the voting period at special information points, as well as in public spaces. The volunteers will not only answer all citizens' questions about the project, but also help them make a choice right away.

      United Russia accompanies the project at all stages of its implementation: from public discussions to the commissioning of the facility. After that, seasonal monitoring of the condition of the territories after the winter is carried out, they are fixed if a problem is identified, information about which is transmitted to the Ministry of Construction for further resolution of the issue. Such monitoring makes it possible to cover at least 30% of landscaped spaces annually.

      – I ask you to maximize the involvement of our deputies, volunteers and all concerned residents. This year, it is necessary to put in order not only the traditional recreation areas of the townspeople, but also to help with cleaning in the houses where the families of veterans of the Great Patriotic War and participants in a special military operation live," Vladimir Yakushev addressed during the VKS with the regions with the participation of the Ministry of Construction.
