Kirovstat reported an increase in salaries in the region
According to the results of 2024, the average monthly nominal accrued salary of employees of Kirov organizations (including taxes and other deductions) amounted to 57 thousand 537 rubles. The department noted that in comparison with 2023, salaries in the region increased by 18.2%. Wage growth was observed in all sectors of the economy.
In 2024, the average number of employees of organizations in the region amounted to 347 thousand people. The majority of employees are concentrated in manufacturing organizations: 25% (86 thousand people) of the total number of employed residents in the region. 12% of all employees are employed in the field of education: 43.1 thousand people. In the fields of healthcare and social services — 37.9 thousand people (11% of the total number of employees in the region). 37.4 thousand people (11% of the total number of employed in the region) work in wholesale and retail trade, including repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
As noted in Kirovstat, the average monthly salary, significantly exceeding the regional average, was recorded in financial and insurance organizations: 42% higher than the regional average salary level. Workers employed in mining and manufacturing industries earn 25% and 20% more than the regional average, respectively.
The lowest wages were recorded in the areas of "administrative activities and related additional services", "activities of hotels and catering enterprises", "provision of other types of services".
