On Monday, March 17, in the Oktyabrsky district of Kirov, on-site rabies vaccination of pets in the private sector will begin. According to the city administration, the operation of mobile points will be organized for the convenience of the owners.
On March 17, specialists will vaccinate in Bakhta and in the villages of Zagoski, Repki, Kolobovshchina, Balezinshchyna and Gusy. The Kirov City Hall noted that free vaccination is carried out only in labeled animals. Animal chipping and tagging services will be provided locally.
The city administration reported that by March 24, specialists will visit more than 30 settlements. Owners who are unable to vaccinate their pets against rabies at their place of residence can independently contact the Kirov Regional Animal Disease Control Station: Agricultural Passage, 6.
