Kirov residents actively put self-lock on loans: traffic to Public services increased by 10%

The growing interest in Public Services in the Kirov region is associated with the launch of a new self-locking feature for loans, which became available on March 1. An analysis of anonymized data provided by one of the popular mobile operators shows that the peak of access to the portal occurs in the morning — from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The most active users of the portal are residents aged 35-44 years (35% of the total number of visitors). They are followed by the age groups of 45-54 and 25-34 years, accounting for 23% and 18%, respectively. Slightly more than half of the site's audience are men — 50.3%. Most often, residents of the region access the portal on weekdays — the highest rates were recorded on Monday and Wednesday.

Authorities and experts attribute the increased interest in self-locking loans to the desire of Kirov residents to protect themselves from fraudsters. They remind you to be vigilant and not fall for the tricks of scammers. "If you receive a call from an unknown number and are persuaded to take out a loan, transfer money to a named account, or transfer it to a courier, this is fraud. Do not give codes or provide any information about yourself and immediately end such a call," law enforcement officials recommend.

The self-lock function for obtaining loans and loans allows citizens to independently set a limit on loan processing, which significantly reduces the risk of becoming a victim of fraud. To take advantage of this opportunity, you need to register on the Public Services portal and activate the corresponding service.
