Traffic restrictions will be introduced on 10 bridges in the region

      This year, 10 bridges in 8 municipalities of the region are planned to be repaired in the Kirov region. Traffic restrictions will be imposed on the bridges during the repair, the regional government said.

      From May 1 to November 30, a speed limit of up to 50 km/h will be introduced on the bridge over the Poloi River on the Kirov— Malmyzh — Vyatsky Polyany highway in the Kirovo-Chepetsky district and on the bridge over the Luga River on the Sosnovka — Ust-Luga—Kizner road in the Vyatskopolyansky district.

      The regional government noted that work on the bridges will be carried out alternately on the left and right lanes of the roadway, and therefore reverse traffic will be organized.

      Currently, work is underway on the construction of a temporary bridge structure on the bridge over the Kokshaga River on the Kriusha — Sovetsk — Lebyazhye — Vershinyata road in the Soveitskiy district. After completing the work on the bypass bridge and redirecting traffic, workers will be able to start repairs.

      According to the regional government, the date of the opening of traffic on a temporary highway with a size limit (4 m) and a maximum speed (30 km/ h) will be announced 20 days before the start of traffic.
