      Yesterday, on March 5, the State Duma adopted in the first reading a draft law "On Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation" in order to increase the effectiveness of administrative responsibility for violating the procedure for the activities of foreign agents, State Duma Deputy Maria Butina said on her VK page. According to the draft law, the following liability is imposed for non-compliance with regulatory authorities:

      fines are imposed for refusing to comply with the legal requirements of officials who monitor compliance with legislation on foreigners, as well as for obstructing the performance of official duties by these officials

      , fines are imposed for the production and dissemination of information by foreign agents, unless it is indicated that the materials were created or distributed by a foreign agent, and if the status of a foreign agent does not correspond to the approved form

      in the case when the heads, founders or participants of organizations included in the register of foreign agents distribute materials without specifying their status or with incorrect indication, a fine of 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles is issued.
