More than 6 thousand families received a payment for the birth of a child in a year

      A one-time allowance for the birth of a child is a one-time support measure that is intended for all residents of the region, regardless of the family income level. Last year, 6003 Kirov residents received this payment. It took over 199.5 million rubles.

      Since February 1 of this year, the amount of the lump sum has been indexed and amounts to 26,941 rubles and 71 kopecks. In areas where the district coefficient is in effect, the amount is up to 30 thousand 982 rubles 97 kopecks. The payment is paid to one of the royalties for each child born in the family, including adopted children. If twins or triplets are born, an allowance is provided for each baby.

      According to Nikolai Pasinkov, the head of the Department of the Siberian Federal District for the Kirov region, the allowance is assigned to working mothers automatically based on the data of the registry Office on the birth of a child. If the parents do not work, you need to submit an application to the customer service of the Social Fund branch in the Kirov region or to a multifunctional center that provides such a service. The application can be submitted through the Public Services portal.

      The money will be transferred to the account within 10 business days after receiving all the necessary data. If the money has not been credited to the account of one of the parents, you need to contact your employer. By the way, the allowance is also due to the child's guardian, foster parent, or foster parent.
