The old children's playground is being dismantled at the Vyatka Philharmonic.
A new children's sports and play area will be established at the Vyatka Philharmonic in Kirov. As reported by the May Day territorial administration, a municipal contract for its arrangement has already been signed. Starting from July 20, the contracting organization will begin dismantling the old structures and surface. They require complete replacement as they do not meet safety standards. New equipment has already been ordered. The area will remain within the same boundaries. It will feature slides, monkey bars, and children's exercise equipment.
On August 1, preparations for the concrete base are planned to begin, which will later be covered with rubber crumb. The work on the new complex is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer.
Earlier, we reported on other projects aimed at updating public spaces. On May 27, it was announced that a multifunctional sports area in Gagarin Park would finally open, with construction having started back in May 2025.
In early July, it became known that old exercise equipment and swings would be dismantled on the embankment of Coach Pushkarev in the Novovyatka district to install new ones — a total of 13 elements, including outdoor exercise equipment, benches, bars, monkey bars, pull-up bars, and a complex for passing the GTO standards.
