Two confiscated cars from the Kirov region were transferred for the needs of the Special Military Operation.
In the Kirov region, two cars confiscated by court order were handed over to representatives of military units participating in the special military operation. This was reported by the regional office of the Federal Bailiff Service.
The case involves two residents of the region aged 41 and 45. They were found guilty of repeated driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, one of the men was also convicted of illegal acquisition and storage of narcotic substances in significant amounts.
The 41-year-old owner of a "Leisyan" car was fined 150,000 rubles, deprived of his driver's license for two years, and ordered to have the car confiscated for state revenue.
The 45-year-old man, who was driving an Audi, received a fine of 110,000 rubles, was also deprived of the right to drive vehicles for two years, and his car was confiscated.
After the court decisions came into legal force, the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service for the Kirov region notified the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation about the possibility of transferring the confiscated all-wheel-drive vehicles for the needs of the special military operation.
As a result, both vehicles were handed over to representatives of the military units participating in the special military operation.
