Two pensions and a personal curator: new benefits for veterans of the SVO in the Kirov region
The Regional Branch of the Social Fund in the Kirov Region has established a comprehensive support system for veterans of the Special Military Operation (SMO) and their families, which covers not only monetary payments but also rehabilitation and bureaucratic assistance.
The key innovation of this year concerns pension provision. The state disability pension is now assigned not only to military personnel but also to fighters of private military companies and other structures assisting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The amount of the payment depends on the disability group and ranges from 15,400 to 26,500 rubles.
However, the main option available to disabled veterans is the ability to receive two pensions simultaneously: an old-age insurance pension and a state disability pension. They also receive a monthly cash payment and additional material support. At the same time, the service record is calculated on a preferential basis: one year of participation in combat actions counts as two years of service, and the pension coefficient is doubled—from 1.8 to 3.6 points.
The families of military personnel are also a priority. Wives can apply for a unified benefit for children up to 17 years old in a simplified manner. Pregnant spouses of mobilized individuals are entitled to a one-time payment, which amounts to 51,800 rubles with the regional coefficient. If the child is under three years old, the family receives 22,300 rubles monthly.
One of the most sought-after services is personal assistance. To receive all the benefits due, one visit to the client service of the Social Fund is sufficient. The applicant is assigned a personal employee who independently sends requests to other agencies and collects documents, relieving them of bureaucratic hassle.
Rehabilitation issues are also resolved without the applicant's participation. Electronic certificates for technical aids (prosthetics, wheelchairs) are issued proactively based on data from the medical and social examination. And based on medical indications, veterans are sent for sanatorium treatment at the "Vyatskie Uvaly" center, equipped with modern diagnostic and recovery equipment.
