      According to the study, last year in Kirov, 309 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned. Per capita, this figure amounted to 0.617 square meters, which allowed the regional center to take the 46th place among the 100 largest cities in the country. Compared to 2024, the volume of housing commissioned in Kirov increased by 7.1%. At the same time, more than half of all housing commissioned in the region—51.5%—was in the regional center. The housing provision in Kirov was 30.5 square meters per person, slightly exceeding the average Russian figure of 30.1 square meters. Overall, in Russia, 108.1 million square meters of housing were commissioned in 2025, which is 0.3% more than the previous year. At the same time, in the largest cities of the country, the volume of construction has decreased for the second consecutive year: over the year, it decreased by 0.9%. The leader of the ranking was Kyzyl, where 2.35 square meters of housing were commissioned per capita. The top three also included Krasnodar (2.15 sq. m) and Tyumen (1.99 sq. m). The list is closed by Murmansk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and Komsomolsk-on-Amur, where less than 0.1 square meters of housing per person were built in 2025.
