"Pyaterochka" and "Perekrestok" have stopped purchasing Kinder and Raffaello products.

      Retailer X5, which manages the store chains "Pyaterochka," "Perekrestok," and "Chizhik," has suspended purchases of all products from the company "Ferrero Russia." The decision affects the brands Ferrero Rocher, Bueno, Raffaello, and Kinder.

      The company explained that the reason was the excessively high wholesale prices proposed by the manufacturer. According to the retailer, such conditions do not allow for maintaining product prices at a level acceptable to consumers.

      X5 noted that the profitability set by the manufacturer significantly exceeds the profitability of the retail chain itself, and the payment terms do not correspond to the speed of product release. As a result, further cooperation under the proposed conditions was deemed economically unfeasible.

      The company also stated that it had repeatedly offered the supplier to reconsider the commercial terms, but the parties could not reach an agreement. At the same time, X5 emphasized that it is ready to resume cooperation if mutually acceptable agreements can be reached. This was reported by the publication gazeta.ru.
