The former mayor of Kirov, Dmitry Dranoy, has been kept in pre-trial detention.
According to court materials, a hearing in the case of Dmitry Drany was held on June 19. Judge Kudryashova issued a ruling — the court decision remains unchanged. Drany will continue to be in custody.
This is not the first extension of detention for the former mayor. Earlier, on May 12, within the framework of case No. 22K-938/2026, Judge Momotova also upheld the decision to keep Drany in custody.
Recall that Dmitry Drany was detained in July 2025 in Yaroslavl, where he worked as the general director of JSC "Yardormost." He is accused of receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount (part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the investigation, from November 2023 to March 2024, Drany, as the head of a road company, received money from entrepreneurs for signing contracts and assistance. The total amount of bribes, according to the investigation, exceeded 10 million rubles.
Along with Drany, two other individuals are involved in the case — Azat Tukbaev and Roman Turlanov. Their detention has also been extended.
We have previously reported on Drany's case. In February 2026, the court extended his detention until March 14.
The new term for which Drany will remain in the pre-trial detention center is not specified in the court materials.
