On June 16, students will take optional exams in physics, chemistry, computer science, biology, history, geography, English, social studies, and literature. On this day, more than 11,000 students will sit at their desks. It is necessary to arrive at the exam venue in advance — admission starts at 9:00 AM. The state final exams (OGE) will begin at 10:00 AM. "If a participant is late, they may be allowed to take the exam, but the end time will not be extended," reminded Galina Marenina, director of the Center for Quality Education Assessment, which is under the Ministry of Education of the Kirov Region. The duration of the exams varies depending on the subject. The most time is allocated for literature — 3 hours and 55 minutes. History, social studies, physics, and chemistry are given 3 hours. Biology, geography, and computer science must be completed in 2 hours and 30 minutes. The English exam is conducted in two stages: the written part lasts 2 hours, and the oral part lasts 15 minutes. On the day of the exam, participants are prohibited from having communication devices, electronic computing equipment, photo, audio, and video equipment, reference materials, written notes, and other means of storing or transmitting information.
