A security guard died at work in Kirovo-Chepetsk.
The Labor Inspectorate in the Kirov region has completed the investigation into the fatal accident that occurred with a security guard in Kirovo-Chepetsk. According to the agency, the man felt unwell at the end of his work shift. A colleague called an ambulance, but while waiting, the worker's condition worsened. Medical personnel performed resuscitation efforts, but were unable to save him.
During the investigation, it was established that the cause of death was the progression of a chronic heart disease. However, no work restrictions had been identified for the man during previous medical examinations.
It was also revealed that the employer did not report the incident to the State Labor Inspectorate within the established timeframe — within 24 hours. Additionally, violations of labor protection were identified: the worker was not fully provided with personal protective equipment and was allowed to work without undergoing the necessary training.
Despite this, the commission concluded that the case was not work-related, as the death occurred due to medical reasons.
