      The acceptance of applications for the annual family benefit continues. This is reminded by the Kirov City Duma.

      Families with two or more children can receive the benefit. At the same time, the average per capita income must be below 1.5 living wages in the region. It is also important that both parents and children are citizens of Russia and permanently reside in the country.

      There are additional conditions: in the previous year, the applicant must have paid personal income tax on their salary, entrepreneurial, or other activities. The family's property status is also taken into account, as well as the absence of arrears in alimony.

      The amount of the benefit is calculated individually. The amount of paid personal income tax is recalculated at a rate of 6%, and the difference is returned to the family in a single payment through the Social Fund.

      Applications for the benefit can be submitted until October 1. This can be done through the "Gosuslugi" portal, as well as in person at the client service of the Social Fund or at multifunctional centers (MFC).
