A 20-year-old resident of Kotel'nich, accused of murdering her son, has been taken into custody.
On the night of June 1, a 20-year-old local resident in one of the houses in Kotel'nich beat her two-month-old son to death while drunk. According to the Investigative Committee, she struck him on the head until the child died. After that, the girl, along with her partner, went to the village of Leninskaya Iskra in the Kotel'nich district, where she hid her son's body in the outbuilding of one of the abandoned houses.
The perpetrator was detained and taken into custody. She was charged under paragraph "b" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder of a minor). The investigation into the criminal case is ongoing.
