A Kirov student had 350 SIM cards confiscated.

      In Kirov, law enforcement officers, with the support of Rosgvardiya fighters, detained a young man who was operating a SIM box — equipment for mass phone calls over the internet. According to the police, for a month he had been servicing a communication node through which fraudsters called citizens. He rented apartments for his operations and regularly changed the locations of the equipment. His housing and equipment expenses were covered by his curators. During the arrest in one of the apartments, they seized equipment from him: a laptop, routers, mobile phones, and about 350 SIM cards. Investigators have opened a criminal case. Other participants in the scheme and organizers of the illegal communication node are currently being identified.
