The residents of Kirov were given a park with yellow hippos.

      For the guests, a rich program was prepared: contests, dances, sports relays, a prize draw, and meetings with the children's favorite — the cat KSMchik, who willingly posed for photos and accepted hugs from the young guests of the celebration.

      The event was attended by the head of the city of Kirov, Elena Kovalyova, deputy of the Kirov City Duma, Andrey Berezin, head of the territorial administration for the Lenin district, Sergey Torkhov, as well as representatives of the KSM company.

      The general director of KSM, Alexey Mironov, addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech. He congratulated the children on the holiday, thanked everyone who participated in creating the park, and urged them to take care of the new public space.

      The head of the city, Elena Kovalyova, thanked the KSM company and Alexey Mironov for the implementation of the project. She noted that young Kirov residents should have comfortable, beautiful, and safe places for play and relaxation, and the happy smiles of children would be the best assessment of such a gift to the neighborhood.

      Deputy of the Kirov City Duma, Andrey Berezin, congratulated the residents on the emergence of a new modern space for recreation and emphasized the importance of comprehensive development of urban areas.

      "It is important that social infrastructure develops alongside residential quarters. This is not just about building houses, but about creating a comfortable environment for people's lives," noted Andrey Berezin, thanking KSM for their contribution to the city's improvement.

      During the reconstruction of the park, pedestrian paths were updated, modern lighting systems were installed, new trees and shrubs were planted, and landscape compositions were created. The area now features hanging swings, a sports ground with exercise equipment, a stage for events, as well as a large play complex with slides, swings, a climbing wall, and an observation deck.

      One of the main attractions of the park remains the bright yellow hippos. Over the time of the public space's existence, they have become a recognizable symbol of this place and favorites of many Kirov residents.
