In IK-5 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Kirov Region, 100 portable metal barriers of sectional type have been manufactured. The products were made at the request of the administration of the city of Kirov for the labor adaptation center of the colony. The institution clarified that this type of fencing is produced here annually.
According to the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service, the barriers are distinguished by their stability, strength, and durability. They are easy to install, and all edges and ends are carefully processed. Among the advantages of the structures are modern minimalism, safety, and high resistance to atmospheric effects. The products are used to manage the flow of people and ensure safety at mass events.
The fulfillment of this order has created additional jobs for the inmates. Six people have been additionally employed in the metalworking section of IK-5.
Correctional Colony No. 5 is located in Kirovo-Chepetsk. It specializes in the production of special clothing, metal structures, food products, uniform clothing, and personal supplies for inmates. The metalworking shop has been operating here for several years.
