The state debt of the Kirov region is 28.8 billion rubles.
At the meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, Finance Minister Larisa Makoveeva reported that the state debt of the Kirov region, as of January 1, 2026, amounted to 28.81 billion rubles. 16% of this money was borrowed from banks, and 84% were budget loans.
In 2025, treasury infrastructure loans were attracted for a 15-year term at an interest rate of 3% per annum for a total amount of 3.7 billion rubles. The funds were used for the construction of the "Central" complex, new buses, and the conversion of boiler houses in Slobodskoy to gas.
Additionally, 3 billion rubles of debt on budget loans were written off over the year. Bank loans were attracted in the amount of 4.5 billion rubles.
As for the region's accounts receivable, it amounted to 140.6 billion rubles. Makoveeva noted that the authorities are actively suing debtors.
