Residents of Murygino remain without water for five days after an accident.
A water pipeline accident occurred on May 8. Due to the break, water began to seep from the ground and flooded several yards and gardens. Local residents tried to divert the water themselves by digging trenches, but this did not help.
After the utility accident, part of the village was left without water. According to residents, water is turned on several times a day, but the weak pressure is not enough for everyone. Additionally, rusty water with sand flows from the taps, which is only used for household needs.
Due to the situation in the village, kindergartens and the school are temporarily closed. Residents buy water in stores or travel to a spring in the Dacha village for it.
According to the administration of the Yuryansky district, residents can submit a request for bottled water delivery. However, local residents say that requests are accepted through social media, which many elderly people do not use.
The People's Front has intervened in the situation. They reported that the accident is promised to be resolved by tomorrow. If the repair deadlines are missed and the issue with water delivery is not resolved, public activists intend to contact the prosecutor's office.
