Today, April 23, at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, the implementation of the project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" was discussed. During the report, it was mentioned that 308 million rubles will be allocated for the improvement of public areas in 2026, with a total of 60 areas planned for improvement in 58 settlements.
Another 489 million rubles will go to the winners of the all-Russian competition for projects aimed at creating a comfortable urban environment. The projects will be implemented in Luza, Slobodskoy, Omutninsk, Belaya Kholunitsa, and the village of Leninskoye in the Shabalinsky district. In addition, this year it is planned to complete the implementation of the projects "Gardens of Belaya Kholunitsa. Embankment Garden" (96% readiness), "At Mirshina" (Kotelnich, 95%), and "Tale of Kirs and Kirsintsy" (70%).
It was also mentioned during the report that 113 million rubles are planned to be spent on the installation of streetlights. Furthermore, in 2026, the implementation of the project "Vyatskie Dvoriki" will begin. In the Kirov Park named after Gagarin, the lighting and children's playground will be completed.
Deputy Albert Bikaluk urged attention to the quality of the work being done.
